Greg Sharpe - Kintail Bagpipes
On Saturday past, Greg Sharpe, owner and founder of Kintail Bagpipe passed away after a long battle against Lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife.
He was the last general manager of Peter Henderson Bagpipes, and founded Kintail on their closure.
He will be a great loss to the piping world, not least for the fortune of knowledge that has died with him, many pipers struggle to identify a set of Hennies, he could often tell who turned them!
I, and I'm sure others would want to pass their condolences to the family circle.
RIP.
