Watch out on Ebay!

Hello!

For those of yaes that shop on ebay beware. On Thursday last I purchased a Wii console and was promised delivery by Xmas eve. I today discovered today that the member who I purchased the Wii froms acccount was hacked into and 10 Wii consoles were added to their account at Buy it now prices and that I would not be receiving ,my Wii console and that my money had not been paid into their paypal account but another persons. After a lengthy call to Ebay I was then told I would need to wait until Christmas Eve to put a claim in again. Shows you how evil people can be so close to Christmas, not just on my benefit but for the other 10 people that are also out of pocket and probably lost out on their childs christmas pressie.

....so now the only wii you're going to experience whilst over Xmas......will be in the toilet?

Contact paypal and explain,

They'll refund on the hurry up
there are some dodgy dealers on there all right

I despise people that dp that.

Already submitted a claim with Paypal and Ebay. Was on the phone for about an hour to Ebay.

I had my account hacked over a year ago and had some Ugg boots put up for sale on it. I was lucky and managed to get ebay to remove them within 24 hours of them being listed. Ebay was very prompt to remove them and the unlucky buyers were contacted and all resolved. These words may be of little comfort to yourself HM after youve been on the recieving end of the scam with the present but Im sure ebay will sort your money for you. I know always ask the seller a question 1st now as it goes to the hacked account not the hacker. Thats how I discovered my account had been hacked.

Claim been transferred to Paypal by Ebay. Keeping track of the claim through them. Keeping a record of all calls that I make and a printed copy of the email. Fingers crossed they cough up. The sales are on.

This is why you should always buy stuff off the internet via a credit card. If you do this and your conned out of your money, then you are not charged, and the credit card company take on the fight! Gotta love 'em.
