Universities should not be allowed to set exams on the day of the Scottish Championships in Dumbarton. Discuss.

Feckin' idiots have gave me a three (so 4.5 for me) hour exam starting at 2pm on the day of dumbarton. Do they not know pipe bands?!? FECKIN EEJITS!

Not amused...

....you could always fail to turn up and do the resits.....

If i do that, the highest mark I can get in the exam is a 3C (a pass, and no more).


We'll see what happens.

Yeah, if I cant get the exam changed - the band is pulling out of dumbarton. I'm lead, they can't go with out me (even if they did, they'd only have 2 sides)

it's not looking too good. But you're right - education comes first.

Wait till you have a morgage to pay, Bills to meet oh yea and of course a Missus who tells you, it's your turn to baby sit the weans whilst she goes to bingo? Or that the Leccie Bill is overdue and they will cut you off, So you had better get some overtime?

yes there is a mrs drummer dave im engaged to her and no im not still staying with the folks and i dont have to really worry about having no money as im at college as an apprentice plumber and i earn 7 and a half grand a year so life is pretty sweet for me :D:D

You know, in all fairness - i've been dossing off you for longer than i've been at uni! The only income i have is my DLA at the moment. Therefore, even if i wasnt at uni - you'd still be buying my drinks!!

Rubes, last year a few guys in the band ended up with exams on the day of a contest and managed to get it moved to another date so they could attend the championship. I'll speak to them and see how they managed to shift it.

Get it shifted m8, otherwise yer bootin' will be twice as severe
