European Champions
Hearty congratulations to Geoghan Memorial on becoming European Champions, excellent result, and one thy have been buildiing up to, now lets take tyhisd winning streak onto Glasgow lads?
Excellent result also for Boghall and Bathgate, to come away with a Third place is superb once again still top Band in Scotland. two seconds and a 3rd is pretty good going I would say? hopefully it will be a similar result in two weeks time.
Not a particulary good day for Denny? but heh?? I bet you enjoyed the company Robbie?

Well done Iain, excellent result for the Band. Stood at Grade 1 for all the time I was there. Thought Fife Constabulary sounded good but wasnt that impressed with the fmm drumcore. The Polis sounded good on the tuning park.

Re: European Champions
All the guys are very pleased,
To say it was a good piping run was an understatement, when we finished, we all stood in the circle, looked at each other, and grinned, and someone said' claaaaaassss''
Although it didn't affect the result, i was stunned to see we only got two seconds in piping, but thats the way it happens sometimes
Ulsters next week, then off to Glasgow,
As for 3a, thats a cert, Manor cunningham too, I would think. That will make 3a an interesting grade next season

Re: European Champions
Thanks Guys... third place on Saturday and a second in drumming has taken us to top of the champion of champions table for drumming joint wi Shotts on 14 points. Also Second in the Band champion of champions table only 3 points behind FMM so anything is possible.
Was a cracking weekend. Man I'm still suffering. Well done to the Geoghegan lads... claaaassss. Gordy when your result was called Peter and I were like yaaaassss. The Boggies thought we were mental lol

Re: European Champions
Dai, as a band - yes, the results could have been better; but as a drum corps (and lead drummer) i'm more than happy with the result we got! 7th out of 21 is by no means bad, and i'm happy with it (but obviously would have been happier if we were a wee bit higher!) As for the grade 2 band? I won't say anything! The band (at least the ones who played, those who didn't don't really matter ) were happy with their performance, and that's all that anyone can ask for, eh? Congrats to Fiona, Peter, Redneck, Gordy and the rest of the geoghan lot!
