Now I have managed to come to a bit? I can but add my congratulations, before the results Gordy was telling me that the runs they had were mind blowing, and he was proved right, the Geoghan result helped brighten a day that was looking even brighter till the dreaded phone call that the pipey of Boghall received. Still the Boggies are still the best band in Scotland and 4th in the world is a pretty big thing also.
I had a brilliant weekend very tiring though (think I am getting too old for all the travelling, it may have been my last) Great to meet up with so many of you guys Helen and Dave, Robbie, Reid, Gordy, Iain, John and Liz, and all too fleetingly Richard and Emma,but especially the Boghall folks who always make me feel so welcome and part of the family for the day.

It was a great day, another in what is becoming a great season

2 to go, we hope to win them both, looking forward to Cowal, there might be a wee party !!

I would also like to add my congrats to the Geoghegan crew. I heard the second run and it would have put the sword to some g2 bands. Dai it was a privialge to meet you and share boghalls last practise on the friday with you, we both had a really fantastic day. The icing on the cake was being able to watch Geoghegan celibrate. Heres the photos when the trophy was brought back to the band...

It was indeed a cracking weekend john, The Friday set the seal for what was to follow, obviously a bit of a disapointment on the Saturday night for the Boggies but as has been said they are still the BEST Scottish Band and in the top 4 in the World?
The weather helped make it a brilliant time over all combined with meeting so many NAMES? and adding bodies to them.
Whether I make it next year? well I dont know(Just for Richard) I am getting a bit too old for all this now??
