Hmmm...well I guess that says it all, when you wish someone happy birthday and we're still the only ones to post.

I have to agree Janelle, it is to say the least very sad, but a posting membership of THREE is a kick in the proverbials, I guess most of the stalwarts have absconded back to that other place. And no matter how desperate I got I would never go back there.
I did pop over a few months ago as a guest and saw a few names, since then it has got even quieter, so looks like the they have taken to lifeboats and are leaving the ship to sink slowly into the deep.
Obviously a couple have more important things on their minds than the forum, and you cant blame them?, But as for the others, I have no idea why everyone suddenly went AWOL.
Is it worth keeping this open for the 3 of us to say hello to each other in?

I don't know Dai. I still go to a few forums and there all fairly quiet, but not like this. It's always been that way, but everyone still posted here.
Maybe the novelty has just worn thin. Or maybe we offended them all

Oh my. First of all, thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I apologize for not being here earlier to thank you for them.

I'm not sure how to take the comments though. I haven't been around for several reasons, I guess. Primarily, I've been busy with some family issues and haven't been anywhere on the internet at all for very long at a time. Also, I am not piping right now due to health reasons.... not that piping has ever been a requirement for posting on this forum!! I believe if you check, you'll see that I've not been on PBF either. It does log in automatically there every time I use my laptop, but I never post or even read there any more.

Usually I am on Facebook if I am online. It's just easier. Plus, I can get it on my phone so don't have to be on the computer. Can't do that with the forum, unfortunately.

I can only reiterate what Janelle has said Katie, if you look around you will see that apart from the three Musketeers NOBODY has been around, till Gillian borrowed a Sat Nav system and found her way back Nothing personal against any one person, The Membership was never high and I suppose the posting rates were never great either, but you always had someone calling in with a bit of news or gossip. Then suddenly it went dead, it all became rather sad especially when you relied on the forum more or less to keep in touch with those you only knew via the forum.
