, Mmmmmmm, don't think so, I tell it how it is, and always will do. However as the season has went on the guys have came to grips with the more challenging material. Could well have been we asked a bit too much from them. This has been taken onboard and minor adjustments will be taken to rectify this.
Watch this space isn't the same as saying we will win, but our chances may be a bit better with the things I've mentioned, if not, I'll be the first to say why.

Just pulling your leg redneck. I was not being derogatory in any way. I know how difficult it is to step up and get to grips with more challenging material. It takes time, patience and determination. As you said previously it can all come down to one moment in time, you have to be good on the day. I know you will keep plugging away and it will come good.

Don't take this personal m8 but if things were too much it should have been noticed long before competition day.
"Minor" adjustments mean "tweaking" what you have but if what you have is too difficult then "major" adjustments are needed. Are the tunes hard for the players to cope with? If so then simpler tunes could be an answer which the begs the question, are you in the right grade.
Just a thought from your post.

Yep, every band has to go through a period of adjustment when you change material, especially if it is harder to play, 9 times out of 10 all you need is time to get there. Minor adjustments like changing / removing embellishments are fine and that's what most bands do if the pipe corp cant get it together, although, if after changing / removing embellishments they still cant get it then your talking about changing the entire tune which is pretty major but you would normally persevere with it until the end of the season then change it so as not to unsettle everything. From what I've heard of the lough, they sound like there are not many tunes that the guys would not get their fingers round, especially with the people who are in charge.
