Mom2Grace wrote:Hi All,
One of the bands I'm playing with is coming to the Worlds in August.
I can't go with them for the two weeks they are planning this trip (nor do I want to be stuck on a regimented schedule of bus tours)...so, I'm seeing if I can plan out the trip and join up with them at a later date.
Can anyone recommend a nice but cheap place to stay?
How easy is it to get around in Glasgow?
What sort of things go on around the time of the Worlds?
Thanks a bunch all!!!
Carla

cant recommend a place to stay but glasgow is a big place lots of friendly people there aswell if you get lost along the wat mate but before the worlds theres loads of things going on like piping connections etc and after the worlds i think its a couple of weaks after it theres the world drumming solo comp wich i will be competing at this year you should check that out its great.

World Solo Drumming Comp sounds interesting... too bad I don't have tons of work holidays to use. Would definitely be there.
